Knot LR8-Kit, IoT Gateway Solution for LoRa® Technology
We all know the challenges of managing many devices with different interfaces and communication protocols. You constantly add new solutions to your setup to keep up, but the older devices are still too good to discard. How do you integrate them all into a single system that is useful to you? It's simple – you "knot" them together!
It doesn't matter if you have devices that are no longer in production, devices that were released this year, or even custom solutions from your technician – the Knot can handle them all!
The Knot LR8-Kit is a ready-to-use IoT gateway solution for LoRa® technology. It utilizes Narrowband and CAT-M technology. Due to its low cost and low bandwidth, the cellular connection is supported by countless mobile operators around the world. This kit includes pre-installed UDP packet forwarding to all public or private LoRa® servers. With support for 8 different channels, Listen Before Talk (LBT), and Spectral Scan features, this product will amaze you.
It can be used as a backup connection for Ethernet or as a management channel for your network. The NB/CAT-M monthly plan is much cheaper than LTE. Why spend extra money on bandwidth you don't need? For example, you can manage a Knot-operated vending machine with temperature and humidity sensors using only a few megabytes per day!
Knot offers numerous protocol support and connectivity options: 2.4 GHz Wireless, Bluetooth, LoRa®, 2x 100 Mbit/s Ethernet ports with PoE-In and PoE-Out, Micro-USB. Maximum convenience at the lowest cost!
With the Bluetooth interface, you can use the Knot for asset tracking and telemetry.
