XIII is a remake of the cult ego-action game originally released in 2003. You play as "XIII," a man without an identity, in a solo campaign filled with numerous twists and turns. Inspired by the graphic novel of the same name, the game features a completely reimagined and unique cel-shading design. In XIII, players can also engage in intense multiplayer battles.

The country remains in a state of shock following the assassination of President Sheridan. You wake up injured and with amnesia on a deserted beach on the East Coast. The only clues to your identity are a tattoo with the number XIII near your collarbone and a locker key. Although your memory is fading, you discover that you possess the reflexes of a highly trained professional fighter. You embark on a quest to uncover your past, discovering that you played a role in the assassination of the President of the United States and uncovering the most astonishing conspiracy ever hatched in the country's history.
