This RJ45 coupler is qualified for outdoor use. With IP68, it is protected against temporary submersion and dust. One part of the coupler is permanently protected, while the other part is covered with a quick release fastener (screw cap), allowing the cap to be unscrewed if necessary to connect a patch cable. It is perfect for installations where one side is not permanently in use and you connect a cable sporadically on the other side.
