Metz Connect EWIO2-W-BM Ethernet-

The EWIO, 2-W-BM is a compact Modbus or BACnet server, depending on the configuration, that connects digital and analog signals from the sensor and actuator level to a Modbus TCP or BACnet/IP network. With a Modbus or BACnet client, various tasks in building and industrial automation can be realized. The integrated graphical programming interface "Node-RED" in the web interface, along with numerous digital and analog I/Os, allows for the creation and visualization of simple functions and control tasks in building or industrial automation. Two Ethernet ports with daisy-chain functionality and a WLAN interface are available for connecting to the LAN or WLAN network. Additionally, the WLAN interface can be used as an access point for configuration with a mobile device (e.g., smartphone, tablet, notebook). The parameterization, configuration, and commissioning of the system are carried out via a platform-independent web browser. For expanding the sensor/actuator level, MR-I/O expansion modules can be connected via bridge connectors plug & play and through wiring to a second interface of the EWIO2-W-BM, allowing for Modbus RTU devices to be connected. An integrated µSD memory card extends the functionality of the EWIO2-W-BM for storing settings, data, and applications.
