The Metz Connect LWL-St.SCUPCOS2 K 1509QKEO0010-E(VE10) is a field-installable fiber optic connector for singlemode technology. With hybrid technology: refractive index gel plus opto-elast, it guarantees very good and consistent optical values. No polishing or gluing is required during onsite assembly. The installation is simple, easy to learn, quick, and cost-effective, taking less than two minutes.

Available with LC and SC connector types for singlemode (UPC and APC polish). Connector kits are available for fiber cables with diameters of 0.25 mm and 0.9 mm, as well as for fiber optic cables with diameters of 2.0 mm and 3.0 mm. The connector can be assembled up to three times. Each connector has a serial number, ensuring traceability at all times.

Depending on the variant, the following is included:

• A maintenance-free cleaver that provides an angled cut, achieving high return loss values. The cleaver can be used up to 200 times.
• A cable assembly kit for easy cable assembly.
• A fiber guide for easy insertion of the fiber into the connector.

Applications: for FTTH and FITH connections, field repairs, in hard-to-reach or spatially restricted areas, and for direct mounting on components.
