Band switching occurs via the 22 kHz signal from the receiver, and signal levels are managed through the LNB's supply voltage (14 V/18 V). DiSEqC is a control bus that transmits signals over the coaxial cable between the receiver and connected equipment (multiswitch, satellite rotor, etc.). Control commands are sent sequentially to the connected devices. The DiSEqC signal is used to select one of the two satellite positions.
