The KG980A features a classic TKL compact design with an 87-key layout, providing more space for mouse movement without sacrificing performance. It includes hot-swappable sockets mounted on the PCB, allowing for the installation or replacement of 3-pin and 5-pin MX mechanical switches without soldering. The keyboard is designed for customization, enabling easy adjustment of keycaps and switches. Built for durability, the keys have been tested for 50 million keystrokes and feature double-shot injection molded keycaps that resist fading. A detachable Type-C cable ensures a stable wired connection, making the device suitable for travel, office, and home use. Additional features include full key rollover support, 18 RGB LED lighting modes, and dedicated software for further customization.
