Three unique switch types allow you to select the mechanical switch type that suits your style and preferred tactile feel.

The MX Mechanical and MX Mechanical Mini are available with one of three switch types, each with a distinct typing feel and sound: Tactile Quiet, Clicky, and Linear. Tactile Quiet mechanical key switches offer a pleasant tactile feel for precise feedback and responsive key reset, but with less noise, so you won't disturb those around you while typing. Linear mechanical key switches provide uninterrupted key travel and minimal spring force for quick response and an ultra-smooth typing experience. Clicky mechanical key switches deliver a satisfying audible click sound and tactile feedback with every keystroke for the familiar mechanical typing feel and sound.

Intelligent lighting enhances performance without interruption – the backlighting magically turns on as your hands approach and automatically adjusts to the ambient light conditions, optimizing battery usage. Both keyboards also offer a variety of immersive effects for the backlighting.
