Low transmission speed
The older USB 2.0 standard achieves a maximum of 480 Mbit/s and, due to the power supply via the USB bus, is not suitable for high-power devices such as hard drives.
Long operating range
At 20 m in length, the extension cable significantly exceeds the standard USB specification, with a maximum of two of these cables permitted to be daisy-chained.
