Lindy USB 3.2 Gen 1 C/A Active Extension

The Lindy USB 3.2 Gen 1 Active Extension uses active electronics to extend the cable length of a USB 3.2 device by 3 meters. It continues to support data transfer rates of up to 5 Gbit/s. This active cable overcomes potential limitations in distance and performance associated with standard USB cables due to their length restrictions. The USB 3.2 Active Extension features a twist-resistant USB Type C plug and a USB Type A socket, allowing the connection of devices with USB Type A plugs, such as flash drives, cameras, or smartphones, at a greater distance of 3 meters without reducing the data transfer rate.

The USB 3.2 Active Extension is ideal for use with a permanently installed webcam in a meeting room or when repeated access to a device is difficult. The Lindy USB 3.2 Active Extension is compatible with computers with USB 3.2 Type C or Thunderbolt 3 connections, making it the perfect expansion tool for newer laptops, MacBooks, and PCs with USB Type C ports.

The Lindy USB 3.2 Active Extension is powered via the USB bus but also includes a DC socket for connecting a power supply for high-power devices. Please note that USB Power Delivery and DisplayPort Alternate Mode are not supported.
