The Lindy 70m Cat.6 HDMI 4K60, Audio, IR & RS-232 HDBaseT Extender is a complete, powerful, and reliable solution for extending HDMI signals over long distances via Cat.6 network cables. The following distance and resolution combinations are possible when using a high-quality Cat.6 U/UTP or F/UTP cable: 70m: 3840x2160@60Hz 4:4:4 8bit / 4:2:2 12bit. With support for resolutions up to 4K Ultra HD, videos can be displayed in stunning clarity. The additional support for HDR (High Dynamic Range) allows for the representation of content with enhanced brightness, greater black and white contrasts, and a much wider color gamut. The extender is a reliable solution for creating eye-catching digital signage in retail, impressive displays at events, or engaging setups in larger conference rooms or lecture halls. The ARC support over HDMI enables the return of audio content from the display to a connected amplifier or soundbar, while local audio extraction allows for the connection of audio outputs for immersive multi-channel sound. The digital audio embedding on the receiver side can also be used for audio signals from the source device, with switching done via the DIP switch on the receiver. Additional flexibility is provided by the PoC functionality (Power over Cable). This allows power to be delivered over a Cat.6 network cable in a point-to-point connection between the transmitter and receiver, alongside data, so that only a single power supply is required at either the transmitter or receiver unit. This is ideal when, for example, there are only a few power outlets available at the receiver.
