Product details

This Lindy USB 1.1 Cat.5 Extender bridges distances of up to 50 meters between a USB device and the computer. It consists of a local unit that connects to the computer or laptop and a receiving unit to which USB devices, including webcams or storage media, can be connected. This allows the extender to be used for video conferences or to access data from distances of up to 50 meters. The sending and receiving units of the extender are connected using a Cat.5e/6 network cable. At distances of up to 40 meters, a hub can also be operated at the extender, allowing multiple USB devices to be connected. If you are using devices with high power requirements, it is also possible to connect a power supply to the extender.
