Cat6 cables are designed for operating frequencies up to 250 MHz. They are used for signal transmission with high data transfer rates (1 Gbps). The individual wire pairs in Cat6 cables are twisted at different tightness levels, further reducing susceptibility to interference compared to Cat5e.
