Product details

A conventional electrical signal in a copper cable is disrupted by electromagnetic interference. In contrast, optical fiber cables offer better protection against disturbances and are also more secure against eavesdropping. Additionally, the low attenuation of optical cables allows for long-distance transmission. The LC connector is a high-performance fiber optic connector for singlemode and multimode applications, featuring an insertion loss of just 0.1 dB and a return loss of 55 dB. The design of the LC connector is based on a single-fiber ceramic ferrule with a diameter of 1.25 millimeters for an optical fiber.
