With this PCIe 4.0 riser cable from Lian Li, you can strategically position the PCI-Express-x16 slot available on a motherboard elsewhere in or outside the case. This is particularly useful if you frequently want to install and remove different graphics cards without damaging the board slot or if you desire more space when installing expansion cards.
In modding projects or in cases that deviate from the standard ATX format, it may be necessary or beneficial to place PCI-Express expansion cards in unconventional locations.
