The control panel displays the message "Replace Maintenance Kit" at the required maintenance intervals. You need to replace the fuser during this interval to maintain the print quality and reliability of the printer. Check the two-digit type code on the fuser or review the device information through the embedded web server or the menu page to obtain the part number for the replacement part. There are several warnings indicating that the fuser is nearing the end of its lifespan and a maintenance kit is required, including error codes 80.0x, 80.1x, and 80.2x. If you receive error code 80.3x, the fuser has reached its lifespan, and the printer will stop until a maintenance kit is installed. You must install the correct fuser maintenance kit for the type of fuser installed in the printer.
