MOLDLAY 3D Wax Filament 1.75 mm - 0.75 kg MOLDLAY wax-like for lost-wax casting processes for permanent molds. It is extremely dimensionally stable and nearly distortion-free. At 270 - 300 °C, it becomes liquid and flows out of the mold like hot paraffin. The printing temperature is between 200 - 220 °C.
MOLDLAY - the advantages compared to other wax-removal poly casting filaments:
1. Moldlay is the only filament that does not need to be burned out at high temperatures. An old oven is sufficient.
2. Moldlay flows out of the surrounding mineral mold at 270 - 290 °C like liquid paraffin and can be recycled after cooling or disposed of in solid form.
3. Other so-called "wax-off" filaments must be burned out in a real oven at 500 - 600 °C, producing unpleasant gases. MOLDLAY is a true wax-off filament; the others are not.
