The second-generation Volca FM is a 6-voice polyphonic FM synthesizer with 6 operators and 32 algorithms, capable of effortlessly reproducing the classic FM sounds of the 80s and 90s. Through its intuitive interface, which consolidates the key sound-shaping parameters into a few macro knobs, the sounds of the Volca FM can be manipulated without in-depth knowledge of FM synthesis. Of course, there is also the option to dive deep into sound generation to edit the individual operators in detail. To enhance the sounds, both a chorus and a reverb effect are available, which can even be used simultaneously and controlled separately if desired.
