K&M 215 Reducing Thread

The 215 reducing thread features 3/8" and 1/2" internal threads as well as a 5/8" 27 Gg. external thread. It is used to adapt microphone clamps with 5/8" Gg. (common in the US) to the 3/8" thread standard in Europe. It can be fully screwed into the microphone holder and tightened using a suitable coin through the existing slot. Internally, the reducing thread also offers a 1/2" thread in addition to the standard 3/8" thread, which is often found on large microphone stands, such as overhead microphone stands.
