Klipsch RF-7 III

The compression driver features a new phase plug design to improve phase coherence at the horn neck, resulting in improved sound pressure linearity at high frequencies.

The redesigned Tractrix horn features a circular horn neck combined with a square horn port to further improve high frequency response and extension while increasing imaging and dynamics. The compressed moulded rubber construction provides additional high frequency damping to reduce roughness and improve detail. The result is the cleanest, most natural sound possible.

The Cerametallic woofers represent the pinnacle of Klipsch driver design and are characterised by exceptional rigidity and a lightweight construction that minimises cone break-up and distortion. Combined with the horn-loaded Tractrix compression driver, the highest speaker efficiency in its class is achieved.

Thanks to the Tractrix geometry, the new RF-7 III ports allow the most efficient air transfer out of the cabinet - for the cleanest, most powerful low frequency reproduction on the market.

The new two-piece enclosure allows each 10" driver and port to operate independently. This improves the linearity of both drive systems and minimises problems with standing waves within the cabinet that can cause frequency anomalies in the sensitive midrange.

Each 10-inch woofer features a heavy-duty cast aluminium frame for resonance-free operation. In addition, each woofer has a double shorting ring magnet structure that prevents modulation of the magnetic flux, resulting in improved linearity of cone movement.
