Kipon Shift adapter for Contax/Yashica to MFT

More and more people are using cameras with interchangeable lenses. As a result, the standard combinations of cameras and lenses can no longer meet the increasingly demanding requirements of ambitious and professional photographers.

With the introduction of lens adapters, photographers now have full control over the individuality of their equipment. They can combine cameras and lenses in any way to best meet their needs. While some camera manufacturers have developed their own adapters, these cannot be used across different brands of cameras and lenses. In contrast, KIPON has produced over 400 camera adapters. With the KIPON Shift C/Y-M4/3 adapter, lenses from the Contax Yashica series can be connected to mirrorless cameras from the Panasonic and Olympus M4/3 series. Please note that when using the adapter, only manual mode can be used for photography, although the focus setting to infinity is available. This adapter features a shift function that can be shifted by up to 10 mm, along with a 360° free rotation, allowing the user greater compositional control.

The shift function minimizes any distortions that may occur when objects are viewed at an angle. For example, buildings can maintain their straight dimensions. When the adapter is in its standard resting position, it can be used like any other standard shift adapter.
