Kiel in one day

The state capital of Schleswig-Holstein and Germany's northernmost major city is world-famous for the annual "Kiel Week", the international sailing event of superlatives. But despite severe destruction during the Second World War and in the years that followed, the city on the fjord has much more to offer.
