Description: The VWS 2500 multiswitch features fixed pre-equalization in the terrestrial amplifier train and stepwise adjustable pre-equalization (2/4/6 dB) in each satellite amplifier train. It boasts low power consumption due to a highly efficient, short-circuit-proof switched-mode power supply. The VWS 2500 is ideal for optimum signal provision at the input of larger multiswitch cascades or as a cascadable distribution network amplifier to compensate for cable or feeder/distributor feed-through attenuation in larger distribution networks.
Features include:
- Stepwise adjustable attenuation controls (1-dB step) in each amplifier train for leveling different input levels
- Fixed pre-equalization in the terrestrial amplifier train
- Stepwise adjustable pre-equalization (2/4/6 dB) in each satellite amplifier train
- Low power consumption due to a highly efficient, short-circuit-proof switching power supply
- LNB remote feed possibility via the input horizontal low, with all other inputs being voltage-free (thus allowing operation with UAS 585).
