Product details

The DSO138 was designed as a training oscilloscope kit. It includes only the basic oscilloscope functions without any fancy features. Simplicity in structure and ease of assembly and operation are among the main goals of the design. To this end, the DSO138 primarily uses through-hole components. The heart of the DSO138 is a Cortex-M3 ARM processor (STM32F103C8) from ST. It uses a 2.4-inch TFT LCD (320 x 240 dot matrix, 262K colors) as the display element, presenting waveforms beautifully and clearly. Detailed assembly instructions are provided along with troubleshooting guides and a schematic. Source codes are also available to allow users to add their own features.

In this DSO138 kit, all SMD components are pre-soldered. The MCU is pre-programmed, and no reprogramming is required.

The DSO138 is partially open source. This opens up the possibility for users to add various functions or develop new applications on the hardware.

Main features of the DSO138:

* Analog bandwidth: 0 - 200 KHz
* Sampling rate: 1 Msps max
* Sensitivity: 10 mV/Div - 5 V/Div
* Sensitivity error: < 5%
