The screw-in resistance thermometer with a Pg9 connection box according to DIN EN 175301-803 (DIN 43650) enables temperature measurement in gaseous and liquid media due to the temperature dependence of the electrical resistance of its built-in platinum sensor. This design is preferred for use in engines and compressors, as well as in plant and ship construction, due to the securely locked connection between the protective fitting and the connection cable, its shock-resistant construction, and the possibility of measurements under pressure.

The resistance thermometer with a measuring element 1x Pt100 in two-wire configuration according to DIN EN 60751 (tolerance class B) is designed for temperatures from -50 to +200 °C. The protective fitting is made of stainless steel 1.4571 and has a process connection with a G 1/2 inch thread. The protective tube has dimensions of 8 x 50 mm. The connection between the protective fitting and the connection cable has an IP65 protection rating when connected.
