Further details: The freely programmable temperature limiter in accordance with DIN EN 14597 in 48 x 96 mm format is designed for a voltage supply range of AC 110 to 240 V, 48 to 63 Hz, 5 VA. The measuring input is freely configurable for resistance thermometers, thermocouples as well as current and voltage signals. Temperature limiters and monitors monitor thermal processes in systems to a set limit value. If this is exceeded, the built-in relay (with fuse) switches the system to a safe operating state. The green OK LED goes out and the K1 LED lights up red. If the system returns to the good range, the Reset button must be pressed during temperature limiter operation. Configured as a temperature monitor, it resets itself automatically without external intervention. The KV relay can emit a pre-alarm signal at an adjustable temperature before the limit value is reached, the switching status of which is also indicated by the KV LED. The device is designed for panel mounting and is wired via plug-in screw terminals with a cable cross-section of max. 2.5 mm².
