The plug-in resistance thermometer with bayonet connection and connection cable allows for temperature measurement on solids due to the temperature dependence of the electrical resistance of its built-in platinum sensor. The protective tube made of stainless steel, consisting of material 1.4571, has dimensions of 6 x 20 mm and is flat at the tip. The bayonet connection has a diameter of 12 mm.
The resistance thermometer is preferably used for temperature measurements on sliding bearings and tools in the plastics industry. It complies with the standard DIN EN 60751 (Class B) and is designed as 1 x Pt100 in a two-wire configuration, suitable for temperatures from -50 to +260 °C.
The 2.5 m long connection cable made of metal mesh is shielded, contacted, and mounted with strain relief at the transition. The adjustable installation length ranges from 20 to 180 mm. The permissible ambient temperature of the connection cable is between -50 and +350 °C. The open connection end is equipped with crimp terminals according to DIN 46228 Part 4.
