The areas of application include two-point and three-point control applications as well as the control of control valves. The universal analog input for resistance thermometers, thermocouples, or current/voltage signals is freely programmable. Setpoint and actual values, along with all parameters, are displayed on two seven-segment LED displays (red/green) with one or two decimal places. The values can be shown in either °C or °F. Two relay outputs with a switching capacity of 3 A / 230 V and a binary input are available. The switching position of the relay or logic output is indicated by yellow LEDs, to which different functions can be assigned. The binary input can be used, for example, to lock the operation and settings, activate a ramp or timer, or start self-optimization. The supply voltage is AC 110 to 240 V. The controller features a ramp function with an adjustable gradient for gradual changes of the setpoint. Additionally, a special firing curve for small ceramic kilns can be utilized, allowing for controlled ramp-up and time-dependent firing. Setpoints, gradients, and firing durations can be entered directly by the operator on the device. Alternatively, the controller can be programmed via a setup program and USB interface without additional power supply.
