The insertable resistance thermometer enables temperature measurement in gaseous and liquid media due to the temperature dependence of the electrical resistance of its built-in platinum sensor. The proven insert design ensures reliable sealing under both negative and positive pressure. Therefore, the resistance thermometer is particularly well-suited for applications in climate and refrigeration technology, as well as in heating, furnace, and apparatus construction.

The resistance thermometer according to DIN EN 60751 (Class B) is designed as 1 x Pt100 in a two-wire configuration and is intended for temperatures ranging from -50 to +200 °C. The continuous protective tube, measuring 8.0 x 200 mm, is made of stainless steel 1.4571 and protects the measuring element against chemical influences and mechanical damage. The connection head in form J is made of aluminum die-cast, features a cable gland M16 x 1.5, and withstands temperatures from -40 to +100 °C.
