The screw-in resistance thermometer allows for temperature measurement in gaseous as well as liquid media due to the temperature dependence of the electrical resistance of its built-in platinum sensor. The proven installation form ensures reliable sealing under both vacuum and overpressure conditions. The continuous protective tube and the process connection are made of stainless steel 1.4571, protecting the measuring element from chemical influences and mechanical damage.

Therefore, the resistance thermometer is particularly well-suited for applications in climate and refrigeration technology, as well as in heating, furnace, and apparatus construction. The resistance thermometer complies with DIN EN 60751 (Class B) and is designed as 1 x Pt100 in a two-wire configuration, suitable for temperatures ranging from -20 to +150 °C. The connection head in form J is made of aluminum die-cast. It features a cable gland M16 x 1.5 and also includes an analog transmitter with an output of 4 to 20 mA, while simultaneously scaling temperature from 0 to 100 °C. The protective tube has dimensions of 6.0 x 100 mm. A threaded connection with G 1/2 inch serves as the process connection.
