The screw-in resistance thermometer allows for temperature measurement in both gaseous and liquid media due to the temperature dependence of the electrical resistance of its built-in platinum sensor. The proven installation design ensures reliable sealing under both vacuum and pressure conditions. The continuous protection tube and process connection are made of stainless steel 1.4571, protecting the measuring element against chemical influences and mechanical damage.

Therefore, the resistance thermometer is particularly well-suited for applications in climate and refrigeration technology, as well as in heating, furnace, and apparatus construction. The resistance thermometer complies with DIN EN 60751 (Class B) and is configured as 1 x Pt100 in a two-wire connection, designed for temperatures from -20 to +150 °C. The connection head in shape J is made of aluminum die-cast and features a cable gland M16 x 1.5, rated for temperatures between -40 to +100 °C. The protection tube has dimensions of 6.0 x 100 mm. A screw connection with thread G 1/2 inch serves as the process connection.
