The screw-in resistance thermometer allows for temperature measurement in both gaseous and liquid media due to the temperature dependence of the electrical resistance of its built-in platinum sensor. The proven installation design ensures reliable sealing under both vacuum and pressure conditions. The continuous protection tube and the process connection are made of stainless steel 1.4571, protecting the measuring element against chemical influences and mechanical damage.

Therefore, the resistance thermometer is ideally suited for applications in areas such as heating, furnace, and apparatus construction, as well as in process engineering. With a replaceable measuring element, the resistance thermometer is designed according to DIN EN 60751 (Class B) as 1 x Pt100 in a three-wire configuration and is rated for temperatures from -50 to +400 °C. The aluminum die-cast connection head in form B (IP65) is thermally decoupled from the process connection by a neck tube.

The connection head features a cable gland M20 x 1.5 and also includes a programmable signal converter with an output of 4 to 20 mA / 20 to 4 mA. A factory temperature scaling from 0 to 100 °C corresponds to the output signal of 4 to 20 mA. The protection tube has dimensions of 9.0 x 400 mm.
