The insertable resistance thermometer with connection cable and handle allows for temperature measurement in almost all areas of food processing and preservation, thanks to the temperature dependence of the electrical resistance of its built-in platinum sensor and its robust, steam-tight construction.

The probe tube, measuring 4.0 x 100 mm, is made of stainless steel 1.4571 and features a beveled measuring tip with a 45° angle. The mounted handle, with a diameter of 15 mm, is made of PTFE and withstands temperatures up to +260 °C.

Therefore, the resistance thermometer is preferably used for cooking, steaming, and baking processes. Other applications include autoclaves and sterilizers.

The resistance thermometer complies with DIN EN 60751 (Class B) and is designed as 1 x Pt100 in a three-wire configuration for temperatures ranging from -50 to +260 °C. The 4.0 m long connection cable made of PTFE is mounted with strain relief at the transition. The permissible ambient temperature for the connection cable is -50 to +260 °C. The open connection end is equipped with ferrules according to DIN 46228 Part 4.

Additionally, the design is highly shock-resistant, and the handle used is oil and acid resistant.
