Johnny Panic and the Bible of Dreams

The work includes four stories by the author Sylvia Plath: The Shadow, Among the Bumblebees, Sweety Pie, and the Gutter Men, as well as Johnny Panic and the Bible of Dreams. The 19 woodcut illustrations are by the illustrator Nicole Riegert. The recurring elements (such as characters, places, or situations) in Plath's autobiographical texts are captured through the stamping technique. Nicole Riegert plays with repetitions and (night)marish connections. The text, set in a robust American newspaper typeface from the 1950s, reflects the spirit of the narratives by Sylvia Plath.
