These connectors enable easy and quick connections to any high-speed CAN/CAN-FD product. They are used when a CAN node needs to be terminated without an internal termination or when no CAN node is connected at the end of the CAN bus. According to ISO 11898-2, high-speed CAN buses/systems must be terminated with resistors at their ends. The D-sub termination plug can also be used for CAN FD buses.
