Product details
CAN-CR220
The CAN-CR220 is used for galvanic isolation between two segments of a CAN network and offers a particularly high isolation voltage of 4 kV. It is therefore suitable for use in medical applications, for example. The repeater disconnects a faulty segment from the rest of the network, allowing the remaining network to continue operating. Once the fault is resolved, the segment is automatically reconnected to the network. The galvanic isolation is implemented for both the CAN segments and the power supply. The CAN-CR220 is tested according to DIN/EN 50178.
