Interplay in prose and poetry

Renate Hoffmann let her 90th birthday pass in order to break with the tradition of authors giving themselves a book on an anniversary. Which is often understood as an invitation to well-wishers to ensure sales by buying this book. This is of course a mistake: authors write because they have to - not because they can celebrate a milestone birthday. And yet readers are pleased that a new book by Renate Hoffmann is also being published in this anniversary year. In it, she lets readers participate in the discoveries along the way as well as in the reading of other authors at home, in mind games and in playing with words. The no less versatile artist Peter Hoffmann has illustrated the entertaining texts.
