Your network can do more – utilize your existing PoE connection to charge USB-C devices such as laptops, MacBook Pros, ultrabooks, or tablets with the Gigabit Ultra PoE Splitter from Intellinet Network Solutions. It connects to an IEEE 802.3bt compliant PoE injector or PoE switch using a single RJ45 network cable and splits this connection into a USB-C Power Delivery (PD) port and a Gigabit Ethernet port. While IEEE 802.3bt is not mandatory, it is backward compatible with IEEE 802.3at and IEEE 802.3af, providing 23 W and 12 W via USB-C respectively, which is sufficient for smartphones and many other USB devices. For maximum device safety, it features overload, overvoltage, and overheating protection.
