The Intellinet media converter integrates fiber optic cables into an existing copper cable network for a cost-effective and low-effort LAN upgrade. It operates transparently – the performance and functionality remain unchanged, and the network is simply expanded to support both media – copper and fiber.

Increased Range
With fiber optic support, distant workgroups can also be integrated into your network. Building-to-building connections are easily possible without additional access points.

Flexibility in Cabling
Due to its compact design, this converter can be used in desktop applications with limited space as well as in wall-mounted distribution points. Multiple converters can also be installed in an Intellinet 19" media converter chassis.
