Product details

The ACT industrial sensor cables (actor cables) are provided with a TPE (thermo plastic elastomer) sheath and are therefore highly resistant to mechanical loads such as movements in a chain. The connectors are overmoulded TPE and have a degree of protection of IP67. The superflex SF/UTP cable features individual cores made up of 28 strands of copper, which together form a diameter of AWG26. This design makes the cable more flexible than a standard AWG24/7 patch cable. Stranded conductors are built up of uninsulated thin strands of wire twisted together. The greater the number of strands in a stranded conductor, the greater the flexibility of the wire.
