Pedagogues and psychologists are sounding the alarm: the concentration ability and performance of primary school children in Germany has been declining for years, the number of cases of children with behavioural problems and nervous or motor disorders is constantly increasing, and so is the children's propensity to violence. The discussion about the possible causes of this phenomenon is as topical as it is long-lasting and has not yet been concluded.
