The controller features eight internal SAS lanes, allowing connections to SAS or SATA drives. It supports mixed mode operation of RAID and HBA simultaneously and encrypts data at rest on all drives. The Smart Array P408i-a SR Gen10 Controller is excellent for optimizing performance.
