This advanced modular Layer 3 switch delivers scalable aggregation with HPE Smart Rate multi-gigabit ports for 802.11ac high-speed devices. It features Dynamic Segmentation, Virtual Switching Framework (VSF) stacking technology, hitless failover, 40 GbE line rate, robust quality of service and security, and does not require a software license. The 5400R zl2 Series can be easily deployed and managed with enhanced security and network management tools such as HPE Aruba Networking ClearPass Policy Manager, HPE Aruba Networking AirWave, and the cloud-based Aruba Central.
