The HPE Smart Array P408i-a SR Gen10 Controller supports SAS drives with 12 Gb/s and PCIe 3.0. It offers enterprise-level performance, reliability, security, and storage efficiency needed to meet increasingly demanding data storage requirements. The controller has eight internal SAS lanes that allow connections to SAS or SATA drives. It supports mixed mode operation of RAID and HBA simultaneously and encrypts data at rest on all drives. The Smart Array P408i-a SR Gen10 Controller is excellent for optimizing performance.
