Homematic IP Shading starter set for 6 roller shutters

The Homematic IP Shading Starter Set makes it particularly easy to enter your personal smart home. The set consists of a Homematic IP Access Point, the system's base station, as well as two Homematic IP roller shutter actuators for brand switches and two Homematic IP push-button switches. Your roller shutters or awnings can be comfortably and intelligently controlled via smartphone, fully automatically according to a time profile, or as usual through the push-button switch in conjunction with the Homematic IP components.

The Homematic IP Access Point is the base station of the set and connects your paired Homematic IP products with the Homematic IP Cloud based in Germany. This allows you to control the Homematic IP components from anywhere – both locally within your home and remotely via smartphone. No registration or user account setup is required at any time.

The Homematic IP roller shutter actuators for brand switches enable automated control of roller shutters and awnings via all common tubular motors. After commissioning with an automatic calibration run, individual time profiles can be defined, also depending on sunrise and sunset. For example, the roller shutters can be raised on weekdays after sunrise, but not before 6:30 AM.

With the Homematic IP push-button switch for brand switches in the 55mm format, the actuators can be operated directly at the device. Thanks to the arrows on the push-button switch, it is excellent for controlling roller shutters and awnings. The installation is quick and tool-free, simply by clicking it onto the roller shutter actuator.

The starter set can be flexibly expanded into a comprehensive smart home. With a wide range of Homematic IP products available, numerous additional functions, such as heating, storm, rain, and intrusion protection, can be realized.
