You can integrate up to 120 wireless components as well as hundreds of wired devices through a connectable Wired Access Point. You can then comfortably control your entire smart home via the app – either through the cloud or locally, according to your preferences.

Installing the Homematic IP Home Control Unit is incredibly simple: first, connect the Homematic IP Home Control Unit to your router using the included network cable or easily use the Wi-Fi installation. Then, the Homematic IP app guides you step by step through the installation process. Done. The attractively designed Home Control Unit in white or anthracite stands stable on a solid surface. However, you can also mount the central unit on a wall using the included bracket.

Integrating your Homematic IP wireless components is also easy and quick via the app. Remote devices are reliably integrated into the system – thanks to the wireless range of up to 400 meters. If you want to integrate wired components, first connect a Homematic IP Wired Access Point. You can also use the CCU3 as a gateway to control existing CCU3 installations through the Home Control Unit or to automatically migrate Homematic IP devices.

Once set up, you can conveniently control, expand, modify, and monitor your entire smart home via the Homematic IP app and with voice commands through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant – of course, even when you’re on the go.
