The Access Point serves as the central control unit for your smart home. It securely connects up to 120 Homematic IP devices via the Homematic IP Cloud and enables convenient operation through a free app – no registration required. The setup is intuitive with a QR code scan. Multiple installations, such as in a holiday home, can also be managed through the app. The integration of Homematic IP Wired components ensures maximum flexibility.
Thanks to AES-128 encryption, a German server location, and a low-interference radio protocol, the Access Point meets the highest security standards. Control is conveniently done via the app or voice command through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. The compact, anthracite-colored housing discreetly blends into modern living environments and can be mounted either flat or on the wall.
