The Ixxat USB-to-CAN V2 Compact is a straightforward and cost-effective way to connect a computer to a CAN bus network and serves as a highly reliable workhorse for CAN applications, such as testing, development, maintenance, or control applications. Utilizing powerful, high-quality, and durable hardware, along with a native USB 2.0 Hi-Speed (480 MBit/s) connection and a 9-pin D-Sub connector for CAN, the converter achieves a very high data throughput with minimal latency and power consumption.

Galvanic isolation effectively protects the device from damage to the electronics due to voltage spikes. An exceptionally precise timestamp resolution of just 1 microsecond allows for lossless sending and receiving of standard and extended CAN messages on the CAN bus and enables filtering and buffering of CAN messages for highly accurate CAN logging and monitoring.
