Highpoint SSD6540 NVMe RAID storage solution. PCI-Express x16. External, full-height. RAID levels: 0/1/10. Supports up to four 2.5-inch U.2 NVMe SSDs. Up to 8 Gb/s transfer speed per lane. The SSD6540 is the industry's first external NVMe storage solution that offers uncompromised end-to-end PCIe Gen 3.0 x16 bandwidth. Each of the 4 drive bays features dedicated PCIe bandwidth of 3.0 x4, ensuring that each U.2 SSD operates at peak performance. The SSD6540 is offered as a complete, standalone solution and includes a compact NVMe U.2 enclosure with 4 slots, a PCIe 3.0 x16 controller card with external SFF-8644 connectors, two SFF-8644 8x data cables, and all necessary mounting and power supply accessories. Any PC platform with an available, dedicated PCIe 3.0 x16 slot can now experience the true performance characteristics of NVMe technology.
