The compact circuit breaker in accordance with DIN EN 60947-2 protects electrical installations and networks from overload and short circuits. The thermal release for overload current (Ir) and the magnetic release for instantaneous short-circuit current (Ii) can be set separately. The knob position indicates the three different operating states (ON = up, OFF = down, tripped = middle position). A device for locking the switch state in ON or OFF position is integrated and can be used with a standard padlock without additional accessories. A test button allows for testing the tripping mechanism and opening the main contacts. A hinged cover with a captive quick screw provides access to the installation space for optional auxiliary contacts and other releases. Integrated accessories can be seen and identified through a viewing window without opening the hinged cover.
